This marketplace that is still in its pilot stage seeks to bring various direct-to-consumer brands that are Indigenous to Indians. Shiprocket’s vision is to create an environment where brand can access the audience and promote their products.
With entry to the marketplace segment Shiprocket is ready to challenge the giants like Amazon and Flipkart. This strategic move is harmonious with the organization’s long-term agenda of enabling various companies conduct their business through ecommerce. Although Shiprocket offers such features as the WhatsApp storefront bot and fast delivery, the platform is helping startups build their online presence.
As Shiprocket continues to add new services through acquisitions and product development, it is evident that they want to support Indian startups and ecommerce businesses.
