Neuron Energy Powers Up with Rs 20 Crore Funding for Battery Breakthrough

Neuron Energy, an electric vehicle battery company based in India’s financial capital, Mumbai, is the latest EV battery industry start up to have garnered Rs 20 crore in freshly brewed Series A capital. That is the second relatively large funding round announced by the company in under a year.

Neuron Energy is an old company established in 2018 that focused on developing intelligent batteries for electric two-wheelers, rickshaws, and Golf carts. Which has made it to steadily grown and gain market share through signing deals with some of the world’s top vehicle makers.

This new capital is expected to thrust Neuron Energy to improve its research and development plans and polices significantly. The firm has unveiled plans to develop a modern form of a new research and development laboratory in Pune primarily to work on enhancing the battery life, reducing the time taken to charge the battery and the advancement of cooling technologies.

This investment rightly depends on the future growth of Neuron Energy on changing the face of EV batteries in India.
