Fresh Bus Revs Up Growth with Rs 87.5 Crore Funding

Deeping the plough in the intercity mobility space in India, Fresh Bus, the electric bus manufacturing company has raised a chunk of Rs 87. 5 crore in its Series A round from Maniv. This sum of money will greatly propel the companies expansion strategies such as; addition of 15 new routes and a fleet of 150 electric buses. Apart from expanding the business, Fresh Bus will invest in technological enablers for improving the passengers’ experience, and invest in human capital to spearhead the innovations.

With investors such as CD’s Kunal Shah and TVS Motor Company’s Sudarshan Venu on board, Fresh Bus has already come a long way. He has had more than 4 lakh passengers served and is on the way to becoming a giant in the electric bus segment. Currently managed by its founder Sudhakar Reddy Chirra, the company aims to hit the 1000 electric bus mark across India in the next four years. If Fresh Bus has to compete with movies operating in the corridor such as IntrCity SmartBus and ZingBus, then it is the best time to get funding to grow and become sustainable for the business.
