Country Delight, the dairy sweetheart, comes back to public view with an additional Rs 70 Crore injection of debt from loyal investor Alteria Capital. This is also the second instance this year that Alteria has backed its Gurugram-based start-up meaningfully demonstrating belief in the growth progress envisioned.
Country Delight, best known for delivering farm-fresh milk quickly and conveniently at your doorstep, is obviously milking it. The firm’s valuation stands at approximately $820 million as at now and it is expanding its operation all over India with speed. These new funds are likely to propel its ambitious plans of conquering more markets and becoming a dairy and grocery giant.
Amidst all the competition currently witnessed in the dairy industry, Country Delight seems to be sweeping up. Will this latest funding push it through to the very top spot in this sector? Only time will say.
